Description

Here to Stay, curated by Jason Moran, inaugurates the new Louis Armstrong Center, which opened in July 2023 as the largest archive dedicated to a jazz musician. The permanent exhibit tells the story of Armstrong's five-decade career as a musician, archivist and community builder. Objects on view include photos, sheet music, recordings and correspondence.
