How to Be A Rock Critic

calendar_month

This event has already occurred

Description

Lester Bangs wasn’t the first writer of rock criticism, but he built the genre (or destroyed it, depending on who you ask). Bold, brash and brilliant both on the page and in life, Bangs was a fascinating figure who blazed before burning out in 1982 when he died of a drug overdose at 33. This one-man show offers a look at one of the most rebellious voices of the rock era as portrayed by Erik Jensen, who penned the play with his co-writer, director and wife Jessica Blank (the duo behind Exonerated and Aftermath).
