Calder: Hypermobility
This event has already occurred
Description
Artist Alexander Calder’s use of movement and sound is due, in part, to his fascination and engagement with choreography. The sculptures on view in this installation will frequently be in motion, allowing visitors to experience them as the artist intended. The exhibit will be complemented by a series of performances and events, including one-time demonstrations of rarely seen works and new commissions.
