Description

In its New York premiere, the new play by Obie Award–winning playwright Craig Lucas (Prelude to a Kiss, The Dying Gaul) was inspired by the question, “How do we live with things we can’t change or fix or understand?” Ash, the father to a deaf son, is placed in the role of a modern-day Job whose faith is tested when a series catastrophes suddenly befall his family. The show is performed simultaneously in English and American Sign Language by two casts.
