Description

Cornell Capa created ICP in 1974 to honor his brother, photojournalist Robert Capa, who had died 20 years earlier. Robert Capa’s archives formed the basis of the museum’s collection, which subsequently grew to include photography of all stripes—fashion, fine art, early images and much more. This exhibit showcases the breadth of photographic processes, the medium’s history and the range of artists that ICP has collected in its 50 years.
