Description

To celebrate the release of In The Heights, the new film from Jon M. Chu and Lin-Manuel Miranda set in the Washington Heights neighborhood, HBO Max invites fans on a three-day, self-guided walking tour through Manhattan for pop-up experiences at movie-famous locations. In partnership with NYCgo parent organization NYC & Company and Citi Bike, the tour will take place June 11–13 with stops at 20 interactive installations and feature special giveaways from local businesses. Tour highlights include Miranda’s Drama Book Shop and the United Palace theater in Washington Heights.

Filming locations from other popular HBO shows will also be featured on the tour: Sex and the City fans can enjoy a free cupcake from the famous Magnolia Bakery, and viewers of Betty will be treated to boba tea from CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice during a stop at the LES Coleman Skatepark.
