Description
Photographer Jamel Shabazz’s is one of Brooklyn’s most iconic cultural anthropologists. Through his lens, he immortalized the people and places of the borough starting in the 1980s. This photography exhibit, which lines the Brooklyn Museum’s outdoor plaza, will pull from his extensive archives from the last four decades to honor his documentation of the joy and vitality of New York City’s hip-hop culture.
