Jane’s Walk

Each year, the Municipal Art Society of New York (MAS) hosts these walks in honor of urbanist, author and activist Jane Jacobs. The walks take place over the span of a weekend, and MAS recruits a fleet of volunteer leaders to create over 200 in-person, virtual and on-demand walks. Through the walks, New Yorkers come together to explore the City, share stories about their neighborhoods and communities, and bond with others.
