Description

Moran's first solo museum show explores his range of work—sculpture, drawings, performance and video. The installation will take over the Whitney's eighth-floor galleries; in-gallery performances by Moran and other musicians will take place throughout the three-month run. Accompanying the exhibit are the NYC premiere of Kara Walker’s Katastwóf Karavan (2018), a steam-powered calliope housed in a parade wagon, and a 20th-anniversary concert for Moran’s trio, The Bandwagon.
