Description

Set at New York City’s Rikers Island jail, this 2000 play from Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (Our Lady of 121st Street) is a meditation on faith, religion, forgiveness and justice. Prisoners Lucius and Angel—both serving time on murder charges—together reckon with questions of guilt and morality far loftier than a court can settle. Mark Brokaw (How I Learned to Drive) helms this intensely thought-provoking production.
