Description

The Manhattan Theatre Club proudly presents on Broadway for the first time ever August Wilson’s play Jitney—the Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright’s 1970s-era drama about a group of men who try to make ends meet by driving unlicensed cabs, known as jitneys. Things come to a head when the city threatens to shut down their business as the boss’s son returns from prison. The play stars Harvy Blanks, Anthony Chisholm, Andre Holland and Carra Patterson. Ruben Santiago-Hudson directs.
