This event has already occurred
Description
In her practice, Cherokee artist Kay WalkingStick explores the impact of the North American landscape on Indigenous communities worldwide. This exhibit places her works in conversation with pieces from the museum’s 19th-century Hudson River School collection and highlights the challenges that artists have portraying nature and people’s relationship to it—especially those who have called certain places home for millennia.
