Description
Isaac Julien: Lessons of the Hour, which takes its name from the 10-channel video installation of the same name, covers the life and work of Frederick Douglass. The video is accompanied by pamphlets of Douglass’ speeches featured in Lessons of the Hour, first editions of his memoirs, photographic portraits of Douglass and his wife, Anna Murray Douglass, and additional historical objects.
