Lincoln Center 60th Anniversary Block Party

Sixty years ago, construction began for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the country’s first modern performing arts center, with a ground-breaking ceremony. It’s since grown to include 11 organizations and has become one of the country’s most important and influential cultural institutions. To celebrate this momentous anniversary, Lincoln Center will be hosting a free block party on May 4, from 10am to 2:30pm, featuring activities, performances, community art-making, film programming and tours across the entire campus.
