Description

In keeping with its mission to bring contemporary art to the masses for free, the Public Art Fund has scheduled a series of exhibitions to mark its 40th anniversary. One of those shows, Liz Glynn: Open House, transforms Central Park’s Doris C. Freedman Plaza into a Gilded Age–era mansion reminiscent of the demolished William C. Whitney ballroom—except Glynn gives a contemporary spin to Louis XIV replica furniture by casting it in concrete.
