These postcards, drawn from the collection of Prague-based collector František Bányai, showcase a time and place gone but not forgotten-Eastern Europe prior to the Holocaust. Many of the synagogues pictured, and the communities which they served, were destroyed during World War II but these small works of art keep their stories alive.
