This event has already occurred

Description

It’s been more than 40 years since the United States has hosted a major exhibition of the works of Argentine-Italian artist Lucio Fontana, the founder of the art movement known as spatialism. The Met Breuer has taken up the task of celebrating Fontana this winter and spring, drawing back to his roots as a sculptor and also celebrating his more well known Cuts series of paintings that were symbols of the postwar era.
