Description
Make Me Gorgeous! is based on the true story of Kenneth "Mr. Madam" Marlowe, an LGBTQ+ trailblazer who was one of mid-20th century's most prominent openly gay personalities. Marlowe worked as a celebrity hairdresser, the madam of a gay prostitution ring in Hollywood, a US Army private and a Christian missionary. In the final decade of life, Marlowe transitioned and was known as Kate Marlowe.
