Description
Matthew Bourne brings his 21st-century interpretation of this classic ballet to New York City Center for an extremely limited 13-show run. The Tony and Olivier Award–winning English choreographer replaces the standard female dancers with a “menacing” male ensemble in this witty and emotional performance. Inventive designers Lez Brotherston (sets and costumes) and Paule Constable (lighting) round out the production.
