New Voices in Black Cinema

BAMcinématek hosts four days of films, panel discussions and networking opportunities as part of the seventh annual New Voices in Black Cinema. The films screened examine the black experience in the US and around the world, and they include international voices as well as those that hail directly from Brooklyn. The series serves to broaden the understanding, appreciation and support of black filmmakers, and also to give these filmmakers a forum to show their work and gain exposure to the film industry at large.
