Description

More than 400 years ago Dutch settlers founded New York City, and in the period since it has gone through many transformations. This permanent exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York traces the City’s history from a “striving Dutch village” to the “Capital of the World” it is today, showcasing more than 400 objects, interactive components and the stories of some of the City’s most influential characters, like Alexander Hamilton, JP Morgan, Fiorello La Guardia and Jay Z.
