This event has already occurred
Description
The New York City Ballet opens its spring season in April with performances celebrating 21st-century choreographers, mixing in its All Balanchine series and a gala on May 2 that features a world premiere from resident choreographer Justin Peck. Also on the horizon: four nights of Balanchine Meets Peck, which for the first time combines the work of NYCB’s founding choreographer and current resident choreographer, and a new work from Pam Tanowitz, her first for the NYCB. The season closes with a week’s worth of Midsummer Night’s Dream performances.
