The United Palace hosts a special Halloween-themed screening of horror classic Night of the Living Dead, directed by the late George Romero. The movie will be preceded by zombie face painting and presentation of a scary short film Alice Jacobs is Dead. Stay after the screening for a panel discussion moderated by local filmmaker Alex Horwitz (the director of Alice) about Romero's work and the legacy of his impact on the horror genre. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
