Description
A month after the Stonewall Riots in June 1969, 500 peaceful protesters gathered in Washington Square Park to express solidarity and gay pride. Five decades later, the annual rally continues to serve as the official kickoff for Pride Weekend. This free event hosted in various City locations features an array of activists taking a stand against violence and amplifying LGBTQ+ rights.
