There may be no two activities that go together more beautifully than drinking alcohol and watching live music. Aware of this synergy, Pitchfork and October are hosting a one-day festival that hits the sweet spot where craft beer and loud music meet. From 1–5pm, indie rock stalwarts Guided by Voices share a bill with Okkerville River and alt-country legends The Sadies. From 7–11pm, soul dynamo Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires kick off a block that includes PBR&B artist Kilo Kish and sweater mopes The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. As for the suds, beers from more than 40 brewers will be on offer, and a ticket gets you an unlimited number of tastes.
