Description

Carnegie Hall is home to four Orpheus Chamber Orchestra performances over the course of the 2017-2018 season. The season begins on October 26 with From Piano to Pen, featuring Vijay Iyer and Andre Watts playing the works of Beethoven and Mozart. Behind the Mask (December 2) and Fire and Light (February 3) follow with celebrations of Handel, Shostakovich, Rossini and Haydn. The season culminates on March 24 with The Courage to Create featuring the orchestra's first performance of Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony and its first collaboration with Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili.
