Paradise Lost

Milton’s tale of the Biblical fall gets an acerbic and fast-paced retelling, courtesy of award-winning playwright Tom Dulack (Incommunicado). After being banished from heaven, Lucifer enlists minions Beelzebub and Sin to get revenge on the almighty God by toying with His newest creations Adam and Eve, who have dominion over the Garden of Even but are forbidden to eat from the tree of the knowledge.  While Milton’s epic examined Lucifer’s motivations, this contemporary update asks why Eve was lured so easily—and whether a contemporary woman have withstood temptation any better.
