This exhibition explores the relationship between altered digital images and the social world, especially regarding its effect on traditional news reporting. This show at the ICP’s new downtown museum chronicles how global warming, gender fluidity, the #BlackLivesMatter movement and other contemporary social and political issues are being continuously transformed by visual culture.
