Afro Latin Jazz Alliance organization Belongó teams up with Bryant Park Picnic Performances for a free outdoor concert led by eight-time Grammy Award winner Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. The evening celebrates the 400th birthday of New York City with an orchestral retrospective of NYC big band music—honoring the legacy of artists like Tito Puente, Mario Bauzá and Chico O’Farrill while showcasing the bold future of Latin jazz. The event is free and open to the public.
