Description

French designer Pierre Chareau is known for his custom furniture and interior designs that blend traditional French decor with a more modern aesthetic. The Jewish Museum presents the first US exhibition of his works, many never seen before, from public and private collections around the world. You’ll see couches, light fixtures and other design elements along with specially commissioned projects, including one for the Robert Motherwell House in East Hampton, New York.
