Description

Fred W. McDarrah was a photographer for The Village Voice who documented the start of the LGBTQ+ rights movement. This exhibition collects his work from the 1960s and 1970s, including shots of the Stonewall Uprising, portraits of some of the leaders of the movement and photos of early Pride parades in NYC.
