Prospect Park 150th Anniversary Opening Weekend

Prospect Park celebrates its 150th anniversary with an opening weekend chock full of events and festivities—the majority of which are free. The weekend kicks off with a parade down Seventh Avenue on Saturday at 10am followed by a fair, a historic baseball game (circa 1860), the Prospect Park Grill Out and Greenmarket, and Campfire Conversations at Lefferts Historic House in the evening. Sunday brings a 150th anniversary run, a walking tour and the first Smorgasburg of the season. All weekend long enjoy ice-skating, carousel rides and free admission for kids to the Prospect Park Zoo.
