This event has already occurred
Description
The Public Theater’s Mobile Unit has been bringing free Shakespeare to audiences across NYC’s five boroughs for 60 years. To celebrate this anniversary, they’re staging a free, non-mobile production of Twelfth Night at the Public’s East Village home. This production of the Bard’s classic comedy is set in Illyria, Florida during the 1990s, and backed by Cuban and house beats. All tickets are free via an online lottery system. For details and to enter the lottery, visit the Public Theater’s website.
