Description
It was 1991 when three blue men first took up residence at the Astor Place Theatre. This installation centers around one of the show's original instruments, a percussion instrument created from PVC piping, that has since been retired from the show. In addition to the opportunity to play this original instrument, museum visitors can turn into the Blue Men courtesy of a Snapchat filter available on site and for download. Blue Man Group will appear at the museum on August 7 as part of the annual Uptown Bounce evenings.
