The Red Bean Grows in the South
This event has already occurred
Description
Faurschou New York's inaugural exhibit takes its name from a Chinese Tang Dynasty poem, Red Bean. This group show, which is centered around the concepts of dreams and longing, is made up of large-scale and experiential works from artists including Ai Weiwei, Louise Bourgeois, Anselm Kiefer, Paul McCarthy, Yoko Ono, Robert Rauschenberg and Danh Vo. In addition to the works' standalone significance, their positioning relative to one another helps create a larger story.
