Description

Manhattan’s lone standing lighthouse has a storied history dating back to the early 20th century, when it lit the way for many travelers. Though rendered obsolete by the George Washington Bridge, it remains a beloved landmark. This festival celebrates the iconic structure with an assortment of food offerings and plenty of activities for kids, including a reading from the 1942 book The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge and performances by the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Marching Band and the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre PuppetMobile.
