Photographers Frank Stewart and Petra Richterova have captured the beauty and cultural significance of music within the Black diaspora with this exhibition of dynamic, journalistic-style photographs. The two concurrent exhibitions—Sound of Light and The Blues and Mean Reds—explore legendary musicians and dancers across jazz, funk, blues, hip hop, soul, and rock ’n’ roll, telling the story of how music and dance influence Black culture all throughout the world.
