Street Games

Hit the pavement in Harlem's Thomas Jefferson Park for this throwback to the kids games and activities of 1960s and '70s. Try your hand—or feet—at such old-school faves as stickball, handball, pogo-stick jumping, hula hooping, street hockey and, of course, Double Dutch. A soap box derby and relay races provide outlets for speed demons too. Musical entertainment, as well as live performances by the Dance Theatre of Harlem, will keep the energy going from 11am until 3pm.
