Stretching the Canvas: Eight Decades of Native Painting

This exhibition celebrates indigenous peoples who have pushed the envelope since 1940, producing art that defies expectations and easy definitions. Nearly 40 paintings are on display by artists from Native American nations such as the Navajo, Southern Cheyenne and Cherokee Nation.
