Suzie Zuzek for Lilly Pulitzer: The Prints That Made the Fashion Brand
This event has already occurred
Description
Lilly Pulitzer is well known for her bright, vibrant, girlie prints—but what many consumers may not know is that the majority of these were not created by Pulitzer herself. Suzie Zuzek fashioned more than 1,500 textile designs for Key West Hand Print Fabrics in Florida between 1962 and 1985, and many of these were then used by designer Pulitzer for her iconic clothing. This exhibition features more than 35 watercolor and gouache design drawings and screen-printed textiles from Zuzek, alongside Pulitzer’s fashions that made them famous.
