Among the highlights of Symphony Space’s return to live programming are Thalia Book Club events featuring Sarah Ruhl discussing Smile: The Story of a Face with Cynthia Nixon (November 10), and Colson Whitehead taking about Harlem Shuffle with ZZ Packer (December 14); music residencies with Ravi Coltrane (February 3–5) and Meshell Ndegeocello (February 24–26); and a Wall to Wall marathon featuring the work of Quincy Jones (May 14). Finally, Bloomsday on Broadway, an annual favorite, marks the centenary of James Joyce’s Ulysses on June 16.
