Take Me (I’m Yours)
This event has already occurred
Description
Diverting from the usual museum experience wherein visitors are only able to look at the art, this exhibit, which debuted at London's Serpentine Gallery in 1995, allows visitors to take the art when they leave. Among the highlighted artists are Christian Boltanski, Gilbert & George, Rivane Neuenschwander and Yoko Ono. Building on the idea of museums feeding the mind, this exhibit also includes Felix Gonzalez-Torres' iconic "Untitled" (USA Today), 1990, whose pieces of candy allow visitors to feed their bodies as well.
