Talib Kweli and Oshun

One of hip-hop’s more outspoken socially conscious MCs, Kweli is musically versatile: he can sometimes be found DJ’ing; partnering with Mos Def in Black Star; or in residency at the Blue Note during Winter Jazzfest. Here he headlines a free show in his native Brooklyn, on a bill with DC R&B duo Oshun. It’s a SummerStage presentation in Brownsville’s Betsy Head Park.
