This is not exactly a classic jukebox musical, though it is built on the beloved songs by the band that made it hip to be square. Instead, it’s the story of a former musician faced with choosing between traditional success (corporate ladder, romance) and pursuing his rock ’n’ roll dreams. If that sounds like it could be a Huey Lewis & the News song subject, well, we agree.
