The Unsinkable Molly Brown

She became a household name again following her portrayal by Kathy Bates in the film Titanic, but Molly Brown has a long history as a fighter. This revival of the 1960 Broadway musical showcases Brown’s tenacious personality in her championing of women’s rights, labor rights and immigration reform at whatever cost. Beth Malone (Fun Home) takes on the title role as Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes) works with musical director Michael Rafter (Thoroughly Modern Millie) to adapt Meredith Wilson’s score for this “revitalized” production, the first in NYC nearly 60 years.
