This new adaptation of the beloved musical that became a landmark moment in Black American culture has its first Broadway revival since a short-lived one in 1984. It stars Nichelle Lewis, in her Broadway debut, as Dorothy and the versatile Wayne Brady (Kinky Boots, Whose Line Is It Anyway?) as The Wiz.
