Description
The museum's titanosaur–a cast of a 122-foot-long dinosaur that has recently been discovered in Patagonia–is so large it does not fit in the museum's gallery in which it currently lives. While so new that it hasn't been formerly named, the species is a herbivore believed to have lived within Patagonia's forests some 100 million years ago. Among the original fossils on view alongside the Titanosaur is a femur found at the excavation site. For more information, visit amnh.org.
