TromaDance

The company that brought us '80s cult classics The Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke 'Em High runs its own free film festival. TromaDance, a presentation of Troma Entertainment, is unique in that filmmakers don't have to pay to enter the festival, and neither does the audience. Tickets for screenings are first-come, first-served, and details on procuring them are available at the festival's website. Also featured: parties with local Troma-esque bands like Gowanus Mutant Commando. Toxie rocks!
