Trust Me

Trust Me brings together works from 12 intergenerational artists from the Whitney Museum’s permanent collection—including Laura Aguilar, Lola Flash, D’Angelo Lovell Williams, Barbara Hammer and Alvin Baltrop—in an effort to create a shared emotional experience for viewers. Through their work, the artists blur the lines of photography as a medium for documentation and instead provide personal reflection and poetic attention to everyday objects, allowing audiences to engage with and reflect on the works and derive their own meaning.
