Description

Subsequent to the end of the Mexican Revolution in 1920, there was an increase in art that focused on social justice and national life. This was an inspiration to artists in the United States who sought a new artistic tradition to explore and was aided by the time Mexican muralists, including Diego Rivera, spent in the United States. This exhibit, made of approximately 200 works by more than sixty Mexican and American artists, showcases the new kinds of arts created by artists in both countries in this two-decade period.
